3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To make a reservation for a yacht, you are required to:
- Confirm you are over the age of 18
- Supply truthful and complete details
- Remit the stipulated deposit indicated in your reservation confirmation
- Accept these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
A booking is regarded as confirmed once payment is received along with our written acknowledgment. We have the right to deny service at our sole discretion.
3.3 Availability
Charter commitments are subject to the accessibility of the vessel and favorable weather conditions. We endeavor to accommodate your requested scheduling preferences.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
Our fees are quoted in € and include all relevant taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Initial fee: 50% of the overall charter cost is due when booking
- Remaining balance: Required 48 hours ahead of charter departure
- Extra fees (if applicable): Payable upon charter completion
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept most major credit cards, direct bank transactions, and certified bank drafts. Payments are processed via secure, encrypted platforms.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- If cancelled over 72 hours before departure: Full repayment excluding service fees
- If cancelled between 24 and 72 hours before departure: 50% refund
- If cancelled under 24 hours before departure: Refund is not available
5.2 Weather Cancellations
In case our captain determines weather conditions as unsafe, your options are to:
- Postpone the charter to a later available date without incurring extra costs
- Receive a complete refund if rescheduling isn't an option
5.3 Mechanical Issues
In the event the designated yacht encounters mechanical failure, we will strive to arrange a similar alternative. If no replacement vessel is available, we will issue a complete refund.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
Every guest is expected to:
- Heed all instructions from the crew
- Use the provided safety gear when necessary
- Disclose any health conditions that could affect their safety
- Stay within the designated areas aboard the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
Items that are not allowed on the vessel:
- Glassware
- Illegal substances
- Weapons
- Excessive non-alcoholic beverages
- Pets (without prior approval)
6.3 Conduct
Guests are required to behave respectfully. We retain the authority to terminate a charter if a passenger's actions pose safety risks or disrupt others' experiences, with no refund issued.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our liability is confined to the charter fee paid. We disclaim responsibility for:
- Personal injuries caused by a guest's carelessness
- Theft or damage of personal belongings
- Inconsequential, indirect, or punitive losses
- Delays from weather or scenarios beyond our command
7.2 Insurance Coverage
Our operation is backed by comprehensive maritime insurance. Patrons are liable for their own travel and personal insurance plans.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
Engaging in our charter services signifies your acknowledgment of the inherent perils of maritime activities and your acceptance of personal accountability for your safety and welfare.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
Conditions such as weather, safety, or operational requirements may necessitate changes to itineraries, routes, or timetables. We shall strive to arrange for comparable alternatives where possible.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be held accountable for deviations, cancellations, or alterations prompted by events outside our control, which include but are not limited to:
- Extreme weather phenomena
- Natural catastrophes
- Government directives
- Harbor shutdowns
- Vessel malfunctions
10. Privacy and Data Protection
